Children’s Ministry

The Vineyard has a very active ministry for kids of all ages. There are three programs based on age:

Time Travelers (Pre K – 5)

Time Travelers is what we call our kids programs for ages Infant to 5th Grade here at The Vineyard. Our goal is to provide a place for children to grow in the knowledge of Jesus and the ministry of the Holy Spirit – inviting them to give their lives fully to Jesus. Our Sunday morning Time Travelers program provides interactive classroom programs for all age groups.

Teen Church (Grades 6-12)

Teen Church is what we call the class for the teens on Sunday mornings. This is for anyone from the 6th-12th grades during the sermon in the service. It is held upstairs in our teen room.

Our goal is to provide a place for our young people to grow in their relationship with God, and also to experience meaningful fellowship and prayer with their peers. We are investing in them, so that we may see them become active in walking out their faith in all areas of their lives, and be participating members of the church.

Youth Group (Grades 6-12)

Youth Group: All teens in 6th-12th grades are invited, and friends are always welcome!

Our goal: To guide and encourage our future leaders with love – to help form active disciples of Jesus through fellowship, love, and fun!

Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights from 7pm-9pm beginning September 19.

We are in the process of filing the calendar with some great events, some of which include the return of the annual corn maze, a Voice of the Martyr’s conference, and the retreat!

Events to Mark on Your Calendar:

  • We will be attending the corn maze, so invite friends. Sunday, October 21 at the Davis Mega Farm in Sterling, MA. (As the date approaches, we will provide information on ticket prices.)
  • The VOM conference is on Saturday, October 6 in Maine. We will provide transportation – the conference is a low-cost event (just the cost of transportation).
